Before They Were Awesome: Christoph Waltz

We were mesmerized by him in Inglorious Basterds. We loved him in Django Unchained. He captures our attention with every film he appears in.  Today we take a look at some videos from the early career of one of the best actors alive (so much so that he won Best Supporting Actor twice) Christoph Waltz!

This first one is a little disturbing to me. Its from 1977 on some German kids show called "Am Dam Des." Just think, someday he would grow up to be SS Colonel Hans Landa. Those striped suspender pants are almost as scary.

Next is a clip from a 1979 films called "Parole Chicago" where he tries to catch a cat, no doubt training foir his future occupation as a bounty hunter... or he just wants to pet a kitty.

This last one... um... you just have to watch it for yourself.

The Enigma Society salutes you Christoph Waltz. I look forward to seeing you in the next Terry Gilliam film "The Zero Theorem."
