Ralph McQuarrie has passed away at age 82. He was a conceptual genius who designed much of the Star Wars universe that we have grown up with as well as the original Battlestar Galactica and a ton of other major sci-fi works. His amazing artwork will continue to have a lasting impact on pop culture and in the hearts of science fiction fans everywhere.
